Paulatuk Community Details

Paulatuk (Paulatuuq – “place of coal”) was named after the coal used by the local Inuit when they settled there in the early 1920s. Paulatuk is located on Darnley Bay near the mouth of the Hornaday River. This is the headquarters for Tuktut Nogait National Park.
