Inuvik Community Details
Inuvik (Inuvvik - “place of man”) is the largest town north of the Arctic Circle and is located on the Mackenzie River Delta – Canada’s largest fresh water delta. It’s close to the Arctic Ocean with a spectacular view of the Richardson Mountains and the maze of lakes and streams between the treeless tundra and northern forest.
